Fridge/Freezer defrosted no doesn't work!

by andy.allen » Sun Apr 27, 2008 2:12 pm

I defrosted the fridge freezer this morning with a combination of some gentle warm air, warm water and time.

All done and cleaned out I switched it back on but didn't hear the compressor kick in... The light in the fridge works so I'm presuming that something with the compressor/gas is not working.

Any quick thoughts to look at before buying a new one (it is 10 years old..)
