My dishwasher salt fill up is blocked ??help???

:( i noticed tonight that the pipe i fill up my dishwasher with salt is blocked up it the salt is rock hard and blocked anyone got any ideas how to dislove the rock hard dishwasher salt or what to do to un block it?????
