Washing machine upstairs

For various reasons I want to move the washing maching upstairs, but am worried about the vibration - especially as it will be in a cupboard next to the bathroom and I do not want all the tiles shaken off. Is there a good way to do this? Anyone know of a good anti-vibration product that would kill any vibration? Or is this just a bad idea?
Thanks,

It's been done before without problems and if you think about it many houses have suspended downstairs floors with working washing machines.
Placing it on a concrete slab next to a wall may reduce the noise, but other than that there is little else one can do to reduce the vibration.

Can't see it causing any damage you have washing machines in flats, it may be noisy downstairs. I bought a Hotpoint ultra quiet washing machine - and it is ultra quiet - may be worth spending the extra.
