Change a 3 pin plug to a 2 pin plug

by grelen » Thu Apr 14, 2011 10:54 pm

Hi,

I have a number of appliances bought in the UK, that I would like to use in Italy. Is it safe to change the UK 3 pin plugs to the Italian 2 pin so that I don't have to use adapters for each appliance?

Thanks for your advice.

Hi

You do not say what appliances but any appliance requiring an earth must have the earth maintained. With that proviso, you can use a continental plug.

Regards

Freddy
