oven

Just had a new dedetrich oven fitted, but the fitter forgot to put the screws in to hold the oven in its surround.
He then proceeds to send around his son to screw it back, but uses screws too big and then chips all the emanel around where the screws are supposed to go through, thus when you open the door the holes are now chipped and damaged.
Will this cause me any problems in the future, wether with heat,( will the heat cause it to crack more or maybe discolour) or moisture again will a ingress of water/steam cause the enamel to "peel" off or crack more or again discolour.
Now he is comming back as he says he can repair it, but will a repair last or will it look good then after a week or two or look as it does now, ruined.
