was wondering, recently my shower in a rented flat in scotland just stopped working

as the plumber is going to replace it eventually, i have noticed it is only on a fused supply, are there any regulations with regard to fitting RCD protection in rented properties?

thanks

Hi No tenants get no better protections than owners!!!
however in book that comes with shower it will probably say manufacturer recommends RCD protection, see if you can get installation manual from plumber, & if so recommended then bring it to landlords loving attention, it may encourage him to get one fitted,
