Sometimes when opening or closing the door of my ageing Siemens dishwasher model number SE25M276GB01 the ON/OFF button comes loose. Pressing it does nothing. I have been able to 'fix' it temporarily by pressing hard on the door handle which makes the button 'pop' back into position. I have since discovered that there is a huge crack in the door handle, only visible when viewed from below.
I can buy a replacement door handle, but is that likely to solve the problem with the switch?
