I currently have a electric oven and a gas hob. I am having the gas capped off and replacing the gas hob with an electric one however, i'm not sure how to wire the thing up. Am i right in thinking that the circuit would be from the cooker switch to the oven and then just loop off to the hob?
Thanks

Your very wrong in thinking that.

No, certainly not.

Your electric hob should be on a circuit all on its own due to the high current it needs. You should have a feed to a double pole switch near the cooker that switches an electric cooker face plate only..

The oven should be taken from either a switched spur off the ring main or have its own circuit depending on its rating.
