Hi all,
New member, need help with the Ring Floodlight camera. The back bracket only works with the power cable coming through the back. Is there a way you can have the power cable fromt the bottom
(where the entry hole is) then feed it to extnernal box.Ring customer services are hopeless. The US version back bracket is deeper which allows the wire to threaded through the side. I can have longer screws which allow room for for wire. This might let water in as there will be a gap. Thanks all

Hi howzat1976
If you are referring to the Ring security cam I thought this did have a bottom entry on the outer moulding.

Hi yes it does, however when the camera housing goes over the bracket it touches the power cable. There is no cut out for the cable on the camera.

Hi howzat1976
You can either make a shallow cut out in the outer cover or channel out the wall slightly to recess the cable.
Take care when connecting the mains cables, the internal live wire (black) is so thin it looks like a pull will snap it!
