Hotpoint (HFC 3C26 W SV UK) Dishwasher Fault

Hello,
I have a Hotpoint HFC 3C26 W SV UK dishwasher which I regularly set with the built in delay timer to run overnight. Quite often, the machine starts to countdown as expected but then stops randomly before it gets to zero and instead starts beeping at 15 second intervals with the start / pause light flashing. When I wake up in the morning and notice that the cycle hasn't run, I usually try to start the dishwasher manually and this almost always works fine. Very occasionally, the machine also starts doing this part way through a cycle but normally, once the cycle has actually started, it is fine.
No error codes are displayed at any point and there is nothing in the manual to suggest what might be wrong.
I recorded the flashing lights and beeping this morning and uploaded it to YouTube to make it clearer what I am describing.

Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong?
