Existing cupboard doors onto integrated dishwasher?

Hi all,
We've recently moved and want to fit a dishwasher. I'm thinking of removing 2 half-width (300mm) carcasses which are next to each other and fitting an dishwasher in the space that they leave.
As I suspect I can't get the cupboard doors any longer, does anybody know if it's possible to attach the existing doors to an integrated dishwasher? I'm hoping I can make up some sort of back board to screw them to, which I can attach to the dishwasher. However, I don't know if this would work as I don't really know anything about integrated appliances.
If it's relevant, the existing cupboards each have a small drawer at the top, so I would be assembling the fascia from the two cupboard doors and 2 drawer fronts.
Anybody tried this?
Thanks,
Ade
