table top fridge

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to do away with the freezer bit in a table top freezer, I don't need it and the extra space would be useful.
This is a Fridgemaster.

You probably could, however you would need to have the system de-gassed first as releasing the gas into the atmosphere is bad for health and you can get frost bite if it sprays on your skin.
Once its degassed you could then cut the pipes and remove the chiller plate(s)

Thanks for that, probably be easier to chuck it and buy a slightly bigger one.
