I ruined head of phillips screw in my oven inner glass door, cannot get it out. Please can someone help.

IF YOU ARN'T ADEPT WITH TOOLS, THEN TRY GETTING A FRIEND WHO IS TO TRY THE FOLLOWING SUGGESTIONS.

(YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO ATTEMPT THIS YOURSELF)
IF THE SCREW HEAD IS PROUD OF THE SURFACE, THEY/YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO GRIP THE HEAD IN THE JAWS OF PLIERS OR PINCERS OR MOLEGRIPS TO FREE.

(YOU'LL PROBABLY NEED HELP WITH THIS)
IF IT IS A COUNTER SUNK HEAD SCREW FLUSH WITH THE SURFACE THEN THEY/YOU COULD TRY REVERSE DRILLING THE SCREW OUT WITH LH DRILL BIT OR DRILLING A HOLE IN THE SCREW AND USING A LH STUD EXTRACTOR TO FREE.

TREAD CAREFULLY AND THINK SAFTY FIRST.

You can get screw removing bits that unscrew damaged screws but if thats not an option you might need to look at drilling it out using the other type of remover which is based on the left hand drill bit.

Actually, thinking about it. Is it a philips head screw? Might be a pozi-driv one which takes a slightly different screwdriver to remove properly.

Another method is to remove all the other screws and then *carefully* drill out the head. Look at the diameter of the other screws' thread, and choose a bit which is wider.

Then, remove the glass and you'll be left with the stump of the old screw. You can hopefully remove this with a pair of pliers by wiggling it. If it's stubborn, a bit of WD40 may help.
