I believe my electrician may have punctured/damaged the ducting for my cooker hood when installing some PIRs into the ceiling for my burglar alarm.
If so, can ducting be repaired, or must it be completely renewed?

F,
THE ELECTRICIAN IS REPONSIBLE FOR HIS WORK AND FOR ANY DAMAGE HE CAUSES IN CARRYING OUT SUCH WORK.
FIRSTLY, CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE ACTUALLY GOT A PROBLEM.
"NO BELIEVE'S OR MAY HAVE'S ALLOWED"
THEN VOICE YOUR CONCERNS TO HIM/HER AND GET THE ELECTRICIAN BACK IN TO REMEDY.
ANY DECENT TRADESPERSON SHOULDN'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT!!
EASILY REPAIRABLE USING DUCT SEALING TAPE.
YOURS RESPECTFULLY,
ALDER.
