Hi,

Anybody have any ideas how I can remove a titanium scratch from my ceramic basin? Happened when I was fitting it, caused by my titanium wedding ring. Scratch isn't deep in fact it's only on the surface but appears to have damaged the glaze. It looks like a pencil line but it won't budge.

any ideas what might remove it?

Hi

There is a project in the DIY Projects area: https://www.diydoctor.org.uk/projects.htm called "Bath repairs and resurfacing" that may be of some use to you!

Regards

I got mine from my local plumber's merchant, although they do sell a lot of suites so maybe just normal plumber's won't stock it. I just bought one of those bath chip repair kits (£20) from Buildbase and they stock the rubber but again, it's not a normal Buildbase, they do a lot of bathroom stuff. Someone said Plumb Center have them.

Got a part no from Screwfix, but it is discontinued.

Plumber's with a large bathroom showroom is what you need.
