Hi we have a house full of polystyrene ceiling tiles has anyone a good tip on how to remove them easily please Fran

You can use a scraper to remove most of the tiles but you will be left with adhesive blobs which are usually set like concrete. If you cannot remove these you may have to get the ceilings skimmed.

Gently warm them with your hot air paint stripper but only gently and scrape with a very sharp scraper. Most of it will come off but its a long process if you have a large ceiling to do.
