Can PVC tile trim (edging or strip) be painted?

by rabbit » Fri Jan 29, 2010 12:22 pm

My kitchen tiles are good but unfortunately the PVC trim or edging is the wrong colour and it jars with the tiles. :?

I don't want to remove the strip as tiles look superb so...

Is it possible to buy paint to go on the tile edging?

If yes, what type of paint can be used?

Thank you.

you could try lightly sanding with some fine sandpaper then priming with a multi-surface primer. dulux do a good spirit-based one.

but it is not likely to last very long to be honest, no matter how you prep it pvc does not like to be painted.
