Can I lay natural slate tiles on top of old Lino tiles? Do I need to unibond them first?
Cheers

make sure all loose tiles are removed and use a latex self level compound before laying the tiles

Thanks for the reply. I have an adjoining area where the floor is about a centimetre lower,(2 rooms knocked into 1), so I have used Wickes Deep Base levelling compound. The original floor was screed, and I used Wickes floor levelling sealer. I will now be using Wickes Latex Levelling compound over both areas. Do I need to seal the area where I used the deep base levelling compound?
