Extra Deep Shower Wall Channel Or a Fix Advice and information on tiling and fixing tiles to a variety of surfaces

I have had a bathroom tiled in a very old stone cottage. The Shower tray is fitted & now we need to install a single 10mm glass screen. (KUDOS)
The problem is that we now find the wall for the Wall channel is way out of true.
The cannel we have gives us 20mm to play with but we need more, preferably +10mm. Is there such a thing as an extra deep wall channel
Reluctant to build out the channel as this will require hiding with plastic quadrant & look Naff.
Any advice appreciated for a simple neat fix.

Measure the width of the channel that should be screwed to the wall and search on line for a second channel which will fit over this. Ok you’ll end up with 2 U section channels bit better this than cutting out a channel in the tiled surface.
