Buying/finding old wall tiles.

by bluenun » Wed Feb 06, 2008 8:45 pm

I have taken down an old shower and need to replace about 10 6x6 wall tiles where there are screw holes and pipe holes.

Are there any online or offline sellers stocking old tiles?
The property was built in 1984, I do not know if they are from that date or newer.

The whole bathroom is tiled from floor to ceiling, in cupboards and on the windowsill so I really do not want to replace the whole lot as the rest are in excellent condition.

Hi bluenun,
the problem is they are most probally now discountinued, and metric has taken over imperial sizes. Even now you could go to buy tiles from a stockist and they could be the same size, type, make and colour. but if they are not from the same batch the tone wil be different.
You could consider filling holes and painting!
