Is This the Beginnings of Dry Rot in my Garage Timbers?

Hi, could anyone identify what's wrong with the timber support beams that's in my garage? Is it the early signs of rot of some type? My garage can get fairly damp in the winter. What would be the best way to treat it? Thanks in advance!

Probably ventilation is the easiest way to control the onset of rot. is it a concrete garage perhaps, they can be a bit inclined to sweat, or perhaps it has a marginal (or missing or buried) damp proof course.
Anyway, air circulation is probably the best way to prevent the onset of rot, fit vents or a fan perhaps if you have power.
How bad are the timbers, are they soft on the affected areas?
