Falling Damp

Morning
We have an old pub conversion however we have terrible damp coming down the walls. We are having the outside walls rerendered over the next six months but in the mean time I need a solution to fix the damp at present as we are due to rent the property out. is there any fixes people could advise as it looks an eye sore. Any ideas would be greatly received
