Tradesman's insurance is complex for employers and self employed tradesmen working in the construction industry. It is important to get the right level of insurance cover or else there could be a problem when making a claim. This article will suggest things to look for when finding builder's and tradesmen's insurance.

Business insurance is public liability insurance, which is usually optional, and employers' insurance (also called workers' compensation in the US), which is compulsory if you have employees. Optional extras will be available such as insurance to cover stock and tools. Insurance for business vehicles is compulsory and arranged separately. Insurance for business premises such as an office or builders' yard or storage might also be required.

Ive always used gladiator commercial for public liability

Travis Perkins did a very good deal for mine, they were offering a package (via another company) last year for all tradesmen, including PL, tool cover, employers liabilty etc etc.

I too used Travis Perkins and also got a very good deal would recommend
