Mounting TV on stud wall

Hi
Santa is bringing me a new 32" / 10kg TV which I intend mounting on a bracket on my stud wall. What are the best fixings - hollow wall anchors (are they supposed to be driven through the plasterboard and actually into the blockwork?) or SD Metal Rawls? There's not enough of a void for the toggle spring type. Happy Christmas! Cheers

ennaress,
From your description I guess you are talking about a dry-lined wall.
In this is the case and you are fitting a tilt and swivel mounting go through the plasterboard and into the blockwork for secure fixing. You may need to inject foam between the plasterboard and wall so to support the board.
If you have a stud wall and are using a fixed mounting the corkscrew fixings should be fine but use every available mounting hole in the brackets.
end

Cheers!
Actually, it's just a flat mount, not a swivel one and I'm pretty sure it's a stud wall given there's strips of wood every 400 or so vertically.
Thanks again
