I have two game boards that I'd like to hang on the living room wall when I'm not using them. But they're quite heavy - can anyone please advise the best way to go about this? Thanks!

One is a carom board (this sort of thing: http://www.carromshop.co.uk/carrom/boards/arrows/mahogany/) - it weighs about 8kg. Dimensions 83 cm x 83 cm x 4 cm

The other is a crokinole board (like this: http://www.jaqueslondon.co.uk/crokinole-deluxe.html/?utm_source=GoogleBase&utm_medium=cpc&gclid=COaC8uDp6MECFYgewwodqkIAJw) - weighs about 3 kg, dimensions 70cm x 70cm x 2 cm.

Hi

Have you seen our Types of Fixings Projects here: https://www.diydoctor.org.uk/diy-how-to- ... screws.htm Depending on the type of wall construction you have will depend on what type of fixing to use.

Find out how our wall is constructed and then refer to the guide for the best fixing to use

Also, the more fixings you can add (within reason) the better as this will allow you to spread the load much more and not have too much weight hanging on just one or two fixings

Hope this helps
