Hi,
I'm looking to fix some modular shelving units similar to the image below but have just noticed the wall where i want to put them is not plumb.
The wall falls back approx 4.5cm per metre making the wall about 92 degrees to the floor. As the shelving unit is totally exposed to the rear, packing out at the top to level off the shelving seems out of the question. The only option I can think of is to fix directly to the wall as is but this will leave the shelves sitting at 2 deg rather than level. As the shelving unit is 2m high, the top shelf will sit 9cm further back than the bottom which again seems all wrong.
My question is, how 'not level' can shelves be before they are noticeable to the naked eye. I'm thinking 2 deg is pretty noticeable.
Any other solutions are very much appreciated.
