Removing Concrete Skirting Boards

Hi can anyone tell me the best possible way I could remove concrete skirting boards .. I have started it with a chisel and hammer then had to go and get a brick bolster club hammer also a wrecking bar but it just seems to be chipping the tiniest pieces I've been at it for hours and honestly there isn't one bit that's done all the way down it also keeps sliding of the brick please help I've started so can't stop now thank you ...
