Hi,
Would be grateful for any tips from forum members on fixing to lath and plaster walls please.
My house has a number of lath and plaster walls and I’m looking to hang some pictures / photo frames to the wall. Is it possible to fix to the studs or the laths, if still in good condition?
If so any particular fixing that people would recommend?
I’ve read about inserting a baton but feels overkill for hanging a few pictures (as they aren’t heavy).

If of any help, you will have lath's running from right to left & an upright joist about every 16". Try to find the uprights. If not, use a picture hook like the image so you can screw into 2 lath's.
