I don't know if this post belongs here, If the thread needs to be moved, please do and I apologize for my mistake.

I have a serious problem. Yesterday I cleaned the algae of my swimming pool with a vacuum cleaner but it is still kind of slippery. I think a very thin coating is still there. I don't know whether it is completely cleaned or not. I found an article online where the author focused on cleaning algae without a vacuum cleaner. Here's the link of the article,
https://mediaelites.com/how-to-get-alga ... -a-vacuum/
Shout out to experts, will the procedure work? or any personalized suggestion of yours would be highly appreciated.

Hi george441
I take it you are trying to get rid of algae in your pool.
If so you need to shock dose the pool with hypochlorite solution.
