Covering up end of wall to drive

I recently had my driveway widened and the dwarf wall has been cut back 2 metres. I am now left with an ugly looking end of wall. How do I put this right. Do I use mortar, plaster or anything else?
I am not good at DIY but don't mind getting hands dirty. Any advice would be great.

Hi diamond76
Suggest you use a strong rendering mix incorporating waterproof pva in the mix to aid bonding. Dampen the wall before you apply the first coat, scratch and add second or third coat as necessary.

Thanks. I assume the mix is available from most DIY stores. Would you apply with a trowel or by hand?

Hi diamond76
Look for a sharp sand and cement mix for rendering.
Best to apply with a wood or plastic float. For the area you are working an odd bit of wood with another bit nailed to it to form a handle would be ok.
