Hi I have a problem with rodents having gnawed through the plasterboard behind my kitchen units and as i dont have a rim at the bottom covering to the floor (which I prefer as I like to sweep underneath) it gives them access to my kitchen. Ive solved the problem with syrategically placed bits of wood, but still have plasterboard with holes in behimd my kiitchen units.
Recently we have heard gnawing under the bath!
I dont know what tondo without taking half the bungalow apart.
Please can you good people, who obviously know about DIY, advise how to effect solid repairs.
Very many thanks for your guidance and help.

Hi sprout.
Firstly you must establish where they are getting in, look for defective brickwork, put mesh over any air bricks and check your drains especially if you live in a city.
Once your home is “sealed” buy an expanding foam gun and cartridges, put poison in any holes and seal over with the foam.
Regards S
