Relocating a bathroom/Corridor width

Hi,

We are considering relocating our bathroom, which would involve creating a corridor through a current bedroom. Can you advise...

1) Whether there is a minimum width that a newly constructed corridor should be?
2) Whether we would need planning permission for the bathroom relocation/separation of one room into a smaller room and a corridor?

Thanks!

It's unlikely that you'll need planning permission unless it's a listed building.

You WILL need building regulations though. Trot along and see your frendly neighbourhood BCO for a chat. Alternatively get a builder or three in to quote and let them deal with building control in due course.
