It's a newly refurbished flat with a small-ish kitchen area. As space is resticted it would make a lot of difference if I could put in a sliding door. Are there any restrictions re: fire regulations etc?

Hi are just replacing a standard door for a sliding one? If so can't see a reason why it would need regulations/controls.
