Dorma Bungalow Advice

by stableinfluence » Wed Apr 15, 2009 6:44 pm

I hope to convert my bungalow into a reasonably sized dorma. I know an RSJ will be required for the build, but am unsure about regulations required for the foundations? are they the same as is required for a standard first story block extension? any advice much appreciated

Contact Building control, they are most helpful, and you will probably need to expose the existing footings to see if they are adequate.
Am currently workin on a Bungalow which is being converted into a 4 bedroom house, so it is possible
