Renewal of all external walls of my house

I have purchased a 1970's bungalow with hideous brickwork and some even worse Bradstone cladding. I would like to renew all the external brickwork and cladding. The walls all have a 50mm cavity and I would propose increasing the cavity to 80mm. I would be tying the new external walls to the internal concrete blockwork and fitting the necessary insulation in the new cavity.
Any replies would be gratefully appreciated.

Presumably this would be under Planning/Building Control, so ask their advice. They are the ultimate arbitors.

I can't imagine how much its going to cost to do what you propose nor do I know of any builder who would take it on.

My suggestion is chop off the cladding where you don't want it and render the whole lot.

Cheers

It should be possible as the roof sits on the internal walls, but as advised talk to Planning/BC
