About to install access door from kitchen into garage, im aware it needs to be a fire door and frame. Im unsure if it needs to be an interior or exterior door and if it requires a threshold/cill, can anyone advise please. :!:

Building Control will advise, and would think that the work is notifiable in any case, in which case a fee is payable.
Call them before starting and they will advise.

Have spoken to building control; do not need to notify for this work and no cill is required. Have advised about 30 min protection and minimum 400mm drop into garage. :D

Glad you're sorted.
As I have posted so many times, it is almost always worth talking to BC, as the are the ultimate arbitors, and helpful.

Just a wee pointer. You may have heard the BCO wrong. He would have asked for a 100mm drop into the garage, not 400mm.

He may have said something like: "we'd ask for 100mm drop" and it sounded like we'd ask for 400mm drop.

If you cant achieve the drop a 100mm height to the cil of the door is also acceptable.
