deepflow versus standard gutter

About 18 months ago we had new upvc gutters, soffits and fascias fitted to replace old asbestos. We employed a contractor who did an excellent job he fitted deepflow gutters to match the council owned property to our right (we are mid terrace.) All was well until our opposite neighbour decided to have hers done. There have been a number of issues we have had to contend with but our main concern is that they have fitted standard gutters.

To join this standard gutter to our deepflow they have cut notches out of our gutter and squeezed it into standard joints is this an acceptable method please advise

harrishawk,
Where it is necessary to join deepflow and standard gutter there is no other way.
Whether deepflow should feed into standard is very questionable. The only positive thing is that the gutter on your neighbours house is more likely to overflow than yours.

Thanks for your comments Stoneyboy

Maybe i should have pointed out that the entire terrace is fitted with deepflow gutter but i must say it does bother me that anyone should see this as an accetable method surely continuing the deepflow gutter was really the only way to go.

thanks again
