Hopefully someone can help me here on a health and safety and building regs issue.
My friends kids came through the sitting room ceiling last night after they were hiding in the hot water tank cupboard. It turns out that there is no floor in the cupboard and only the plasterboard ceiling below is there, or sorry was until the kids fell through it. They are only little ones!!
Anyway I would suspect the under a hot water tank there should be flooring in case the tank bursts and for the above reason? there isn't even any struts between the joists, and the cupboard/wardrobe in the bedroom is the same.
Surely this is a major Health and Safety Issue??
