I have a conservatory with two dwarf walls and one full height wall all with 50mm cavities. I want to convert the conservatory into a single story extension. Will i have to knock the internal wall down and build with a larger cavity or will it be ok to continue with the 50mm? If this is the case then i will have to knock the job on the head.
Cheers

you will need planning, calculations will have to be done to see if the foundation is adequate
and you may need to insulate internally to bring it upto the regulations.he may ask you to dig a hole and expose the foundation,It doesnt matter if there is a conservatory there, the extra loading, insulation, electrical all need consideration.I think the cavity size will be ok,but thats upto the building inspector.
