Hi all

i was thinking of putting wood flooring down i my top floor flat as carpet is proving to be very expensive due to the shape of it, what i wanted to know is if i need planning permission ? i'll obviously speak to my neighbours below about it but wanted to know where i stand if thier not keen.
Cheers in advance

cannot comment on pp, but have you checked your lease to see if there are any restrictions. Wooden floors tend to be noisier than carpet, so be careful not to upsetyour fellow tenants. Would carpet tiles be an acceptable alternative.
