replacing polycarbonate conservatory roof with glazing

by David Austin » Tue Dec 29, 2009 11:13 pm

I have been advised that it maybe possible to have the polycarbonate sheets on my conservatory roof replaced with pilkington active glazing. Can anyone direct me to a website to show how this might be done? The current supporting structure of the roof is timber framed and the overall construction timber and brick.

Thanks.

It certainly would be possible to make the change the only thing that concerns me is that the may flatten out if it hasn't been braced properly which again, is something that can be constructed prior to the change.
If you need to see one that has bee changed from polycarbonate to glass google the following "comfortwindows.co.uk"
