Conservatory Roof Corners let in Draught - Is This Correct?

Hi there,

We had a conservatory installed a couple of years ago, and I always wondered whether or not this is a problem. The window frames at the top on either side stop where the eaves beam is. This means that in the corners there's a gap, which lets in quite a draught.

Is this correct, or should the window frames be cut to fit into these gaps?

I am surprised you have left it this long conservatories should be leak proof
whether water or air thats why you have windows so you let int the air when you want.
