Efficient Glass or Tiles to Replace Conservatory Roof?

by flatlander » Sun Feb 10, 2019 4:11 pm

I have a 4.5mtr wide by 3.5mtr deep edwardian dwarf wall conservatory with polycarbonate roof and am looking to replace the roof so we can use it in the winter, its on a north wall so summer overheating is not a problem its just right.
Question is whats the rough price for replacing the roof with clear Argon filled glass or an insulated roof tile version and any suggestions and advice please?

Hello,

The insulation and roof tiles will keep the conservatory much warmer. Especially if you are not getting a lot of direct sunlight. Always try to go slightly above the insulation level (Greater than 100mm+) an installer recommends to really trap in the heat.
