Hi there,
New to forum and looking for some advice.I am putting up a full height con(no dwarf wall) and i was originally getting a builder to lay the base. The more i have thought about it and the more i read online i am now thinking of laying this my self.I just thinking if this is an easy project and would like some pointers if there is anything i need to pay particular attention to?.I have laid a patio and built a wall 6 course of brick with no problems before and it held up well for last 10 years,so i have some basic know how,but this is a con base.

cheers in advance

Just make sure the footings go down to firm ground I usually go to a minimum of 600 mm. trench fill to about 240 mm below damp allowing 3 courses class b bricks to bring it up to damp , make sure you get the footings level otherwise it makes it harder from there up. hope this helps
