Does crack where wall meets ceiling look serious?

Good evening,
We've just bought a 1940's semi and have started stripping the old wallpaper to find a horizontal crack right along a wall, just below where the wall meets the ceiling.
I've attached a photo; does anyone think it's something that looks serious and requires further investigation, or just plaster coming away at a join after many years?
The wall in question is the one separating us and the neighbouring property.
Apologies if this is a 'how long is a piece of string' type question, I'm completely new to this!
Thanks,
Chris
