Hi, I have a three bedroom apartment in London. It currently has one ensuite and a communal bathroom. I'd like to convert the communal bathroom into two small ensuites.

It's a squeeze and will involve moving some walls and doors, but I think it's possible. I rent the apartment and I don't live in the UK, so I need someone to handle the whole project. Where do I start? Most "bathroom" specialists seem to specialise in installing a new fittings into an existing space... I need walls knocked down and rebuilt etc.

If anyone can give me some advice on where to look that would be amazing!

p.s. Below is a very rough layout. In the "after" version, green indicates a completely new wall, and yellow indicates an existing wall that will be modified.

Start with a builder in the area, from this link https://www.diydoctor.org.uk/find-tradesmen/

Tell him you want the job managed from start to finish with one port of call - him.

Whether he uses sub contractor plumbers, or employs his own, he must take full responsibility for every section of the job. You can be sure this will be the case if you use our Desired Outcoe Building Works Contract, downloadable from here free of charge.
