Issue With Step When Converting Garage to Office

Hi,
I'm thinking about converting my garage to an office in the near future but i need someone's opinion on the flooring.
It's a concrete floor with an up and over door. I will put down damproof / polystyrene and chip board for the base BUT this will leave a step near the entrance.
Has anyone got suggestions / opinions on how to overcome this?
