Strength and Thickness of RSJ for Removing Internal Structural Wall

Hi can anyone help me please, uk based rsj enquiry
I am taking a part of an internal wall out in my house on the ground floor to create a bigger opening .
It is a supporting wall which supports the upstairs wall and 1st floor joists . The wall that needs to be supported is made of block work
The gap needed is 2.6 metres and I am aware that I must have a 100mm overhang and put it on a bed of engineering bricks, but can anyone help me with what strength and thickness of rsj I need please
Thanks
