How can I Tell if This Internal Wall is Load Bearing for Creating Open Plan Kitchen

Hi all,
I'm looking to purchase a property with a view to knocking down an internal wall to create an open-plan kitchen/diner, but I'd like to know if it's load bearing or not first.
The wall is part of an extension that has been added to the house and as far as I can tell it isn't holding anything up, but I know it's brick and plaster (the skirting board has come away and I can see behind it).

Can anybody tell from these pictures whether it's safe to knock down or not?
