I currently have a single brick outhouse attached to the side of my 1950s semi. It's roughly 12' x 12' and consists of 3 small rooms and a lobby. The roof is a re-enforced concrete slab. I'm looking at removing all internal walls to open it up and create a usable room. My question is are the internal walls likely to be load bearing? Atleast one neighbour has removed all walls without installing any RSJs. Does this sound feasible?

Given the age of your property and the span involved it is likely that the walls are load bearing. Even if you got a structural surveyor to have a look I doubt they would give the ok to remove internal walls.
